Skeletons
My first interest for doing the skeletons in whimsical settings come from my years of figure drawing. For me the skeleton scenes cross over human existence and represent the lighter side of heaven. I enjoy composing every day experiences into a humorous statement. Experiencing the Hispanic tradition of “Dia de los Muertos’ or “The day of the Dead” by living in New Mexico has also been an influence, as well as growing up in the era of “The Grateful Dead”.
